Our Replacement Blu-Ray Drive installs fairly easy, but does require a bit of technical skills! It is an OEM direct replacement for the Xbox ONE 1540 model so it fits directly into the Xbox ONE enclosure. Minor soldering is required for installing the drive PCB (board). Just install your current (defective) drive’s PCB into this replacement drive assembly, reassemble your Xbox ONE console, and you’re all done!
TECH NOTE: Your old drive board will need to be moved over into this replacement drive in order for it to work. The motherboard and the drive boards are married at the factory, so your console will not work without the pair.
