It is an OEM direct replacement for the SERIES S so it fits and fastens directly into the SERIES S enclosure. To install you will need to completely disassemble the Xbox SERIES S. Swap over the APU heat sink–applying new thermal paste, and then installing this replacement board (SSD already installed) back into the SERIES S housing. Then proceed to carefully reassemble the console back together.

Since the SSD is included, there is no need for re-installing the system software, doing any updates, or swapping/cloning partitions. It is simply Plug-N-Play.
